  • new Presidium in Tunisia with traditional fishing techniques in the Kerkennah archipelago
  • Slow Fish Canada launches a petition to reform fisheries law.
  • new Presidia in Denmark (Thorup Strand Small-Scale Fishing) as well as in Mexico (Spiny Lobster from Banco Chinchorro and Sian Ka'an).

Our activities in 2016

  • Terra Madre, Salone del Gusto, Turin 2016 first time in public space
  • Slow Fish Africa was officially launched as a regional Slow Fish Network
  • Slow Fish 2016 in North America: More than 200 fishermen, chefs, scientists, activists and students from 20 US states
  • The network in Brazil has taken the first steps for two new Slow Food Presidia
  • In collaboration with the Aalborg Convivium, Slow Food organized the "SLOW MEAT meets SLOW FISH" event in Thorup Strand, Denmark
  • In 2016, Slow Food paid special attention to the project Ark of Taste
